Preparing Your camera for Use
Your digital camera needs a Li-ion battery in order to operate. Slide and open the
battery door on the base of the camera.
1. Insert the battery correctly with the correct polarity facing up.
2. Close the battery door.
3. On switching on your camera the battery icon will appear at the bottom
right of the LCD screen.
Full battery power Medium battery power
Low battery power
Note:
1. A “low battery” message will flash on the LCD when the battery power is insufficient. Shortly thereafter your
camera will turn off.
2. Remove the battery when you don’t intend to use your camera for a long time. This can prolong the life time of
your battery and camera.
