  If your Rope GPS device isn't replying to SMS messages, there might be several reasons: * The green light is bright for 1 second and dark for 2 seconds, make sure the device is connected to the network. * The GSM network may be busy, so wait for the message. The GSM network may respond late, or the device may have a malfunction. * The device might be in sleep mode, so cancel sleep mode. * There could be a password or command error, so use the correct password and message command format. * The SIM card might not have enough money, so change the SIM card or recharge it.

  If the blue light on your Rope GPS is bright for 1 second and dark for 2 seconds, or if you receive a message starting with “Last,” it could be due to: * The device location having a shelter, so move the device to an open field, as buildings and trees will cause a weak GPS signal. * A weak GPS signal, so make the front of the device face the sky. * The battery being used up, so charge the device.
