1.4 Ancillary Equipment
The following equipment is required to complete your installation:
Reader
• Compatible host controller (not supplied) - UL listed access
control unit, i.e., model AC-215U
Controller
• Secure Application Appurtenances
such as the PS-A25T, PS-C25T or PS-C25TU secure controllers
This unit connects to the following:
o Electric lock strike mechanism or a magnetic lock
device, which implements fail safe (power to lock) or
fail secure (power to open) functions.
o Request to Exit (REX) button—normally open type.
Switch is closed when pressed.
o Door monitor switch.
