9 Product lifecycle
The product has a maximum life of 15 years when used according to its “Intended use” (refer to chapter 2), if the product
is used under normal operating conditions.
(1) Normal operating conditions exist if all requirements listed here are met:
The product is only used in environments with a relative humidity of 20 % - 80 %
The product is only used within the prescribed temperature range according to chapter 5.1.
The product is only used in non-corrosive environments and non-aggressive atmospheres
The product is not exposed to any vibrational load and vibration stresses
The general maintenance instructions according to chapter 8.1 are strictly observed
(2) If one or more of the requirements in paragraph (1) are not met, there are no normal conditions of use and
adjusted inspection and maintenance intervals have to be dened with CEODEUX Extinguisher Valves
Technology S.A.
CEODEUX Extinguisher Valves Technology S.A. recommends to replace the product after 10 years.
10 Disposal and recycling
The customer is responsible for the proper and environmentally compatible disposal of all waste arising in connection with
the product.
At the end of its life, the product must be properly disposed of according to national recycling regulations.
11 Malfunctioning
Malfunctions of the manual release device can be caused by contaminations and foreign bodies in the release device
connection (A) of the electromagnetic release device and/or in the connection (C) of the manual release device.
Make sure that the release device connection (A) of the electromagnetic release device and the connection (C) of the
manual release device are clean before installing a manual release device on the electromagnetic release device.
Further possible malfunctions:

The connection is soiled or damaged. Clean the connection using compressed
air. If the malfunction persists, contact
your distribution partner.
The safety pin

The connection is soiled or damaged. Clean the connection of the safety pin.
If the safety pin is still stuck, replace the
manual release device.
