Have aerators and deaerators been installed?
Flushing to DIN 1988:
-
Unless already done during installation, cut pipe after micro-filter. Minimum between
threaded joints 190 mm (structural measure for later installation of DVGW-approved
appliances for secondary purification of drinking water) see item 4.1.1.

Install ROPULS Cleaning Compressor in the prepared spot. See point 4.1.1.

Short-circuit service water treatment and/or appliances for secondary purification.
See point 4.1.2.

Install flushing fittings at all taps. See point 4.1.4.

Provide UP fittings with the appropriate flush fittings. See point 4.1.4.
-
Fit hose connection to flushing fittings, join closely to sewage pipe and secure.
See point 4.1.5.

Connect cleaning compressor to electricity.

Switch on compressor. Automatic switch-off at 8 bar pressure.

Open inlet valve. The cleaning compressor automatically sets the flushing air pressure to
approx. 1 bar above existing water pressure.

Set cleaning compressor to flushing with compressed air by pushing the button.

Open all taps in sequence per train, as described under points 4.2.5 to 4.2.7. All taps to be
opened for at least 2 minutes or 15 sec per running meter of pipe to be cleaned. Then close
in reverse order.
