4.2 Flushing on a new system
(to DIN 1988, part 2, paragraph 11.2 – see 2.
Application)

program selection ‘Flushing Water + Air’
If at all possible, the installation should be
flushed after pressure testing. Client or
planner should be present for the flushing.
1.
Push program key ‘flushing water + air’.
Flow rate is indicated when stop valves are opened, and air blasts at proportionate rate are
delivered into the pipe system.

If a min. flow rate of 0,5 m/sec is not reached, flush by means of storage tank and pump.

Flushing per outlet must take at least 15 sec per running meter of pipe to be flushed or 2
minutes per tap.

Flushing must proceed from the bottom to the top.
