What to do if water runs through the holes of my Rowenta Iron soleplate?
- BBecky SheaJul 31, 2025
If water runs through the holes of the Rowenta Iron soleplate, it could be due to several reasons. The boiler might be too full, so avoid filling it to the top. You might be using steam at too low a temperature or before the iron is hot enough; wait for the indicator light to go out and set the iron to GGG. If you're using steam for the first time or haven't used it recently, water may have condensed in the tubing; press the steam button away from your ironing board until steam is produced. If the thermostat isn't working correctly and the temperature is too low, contact an approved Rowenta service center.
