IMPORTANT WARNINGS
Read through the entire manual before beginning your installation. Follow all steps
exactly. Reading this manual will also help you get all the benefits your Royal Prestige
®
FrescaFlow can give you.
INSTALLATION WARNINGS
• DO NOT use your Royal Prestige
®
FrescaFlow outdoors.
• DO NOT use your Royal Prestige
®
FrescaFlow on Private Well systems.
• DO NOT install Royal Prestige
®
FrescaFlow in exposure to direct sunlight or harmful
chemicals, nor any place where it may be damaged.
• Always unplug the Royal Prestige
®
FrescaFlow before moving.
• Product installation must comply with all state and local laws and regulations. Refer to
your local agencies for details.
• DO NOT install Royal Prestige
®
FrescaFlow near any heat source.
• DO NOT use Royal Prestige
®
FrescaFlow with hot water. Hot water may cause the
system to malfunction.
• Your Royal Prestige
®
FrescaFlow must connect ONLY to a cold-water supply line.
• The red tubes are NOT hot water feed lines. DO NOT use Royal Prestige
®
FrescaFlow to
filter hot water. This system can only be used to filter cold-water. Red color coding is
meant to ensure proper connection to the system inlet and outlet ports.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded. In the event of a malfunction or breakdown, ground-
ing will reduce the risk of electric shock by providing a path of least resistance for electric
current. This appliance is equipped with a cord that has an equipment grounding con-
ductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly
installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
WARNING: Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor may result in a
risk of electric shock. Check with a qualified electrician or service representative if you
have any concerns to whether the appliance is properly grounded.
DO NOT modify the plug provided with the appliance - if it will not fit the outlet, have a
proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.
Note: You must check and comply with all local plumbing codes.
Note: Codes in the state of Massachusetts require installation by a licensed plumber
and do not permit the use of saddle valves. If you live in the state of Massachusetts,
review plumbing code 248-CMR of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts before
proceeding with the installation.
POWER SUPPLY WARNINGS
• Use only the power cord provided with your Royal Prestige
®
FrescaFlow. Do not use
power cords from other brands.
• Keep cord out of heavy trac areas. To avoid fire hazard, never place cord under rugs,
near heat registers, radiators, stoves, or heaters.
• DO NOT use the supplied power cord with any other device.
OPERATION WARNINGS
• If this device is not maintained and operated as specified in the owner’s manual, there
is a risk of exposure to contaminants.
• DO NOT use Royal Prestige
®
FrescaFlow with water that is microbiologically unsafe or
is of unknown quality, if such water has not been adequately disinfected before pass-
ing through your Royal Prestige
®
FrescaFlow.
• Individuals requiring water with specific microbiological purity should consult their
physician before consuming water filtered through this system.
• This Royal Prestige
®
FrescaFlow is not intended to convert wastewater or raw sewage
to drinking water.
• System must use only genuine, certified Royal Prestige
®
Filter Cartridges to perform as
assessed and represented.
• If used on municipal systems with high sediment levels, more frequent pre-filter re-
placement may be necessary.

Filter Cartridges may be purchased from your Independent
Authorized Royal Prestige
®

FrescaFlow to sit for extended time periods without
using. If your Royal Prestige
®
FrescaFlow will not be used for more than 10 days, shut
o the cold-water valve and open the Royal Prestige
®
FrescaFlow Faucet to drain the
water from the system. Disconnect the power and remove all filter cartridges. Place
cartridges in clean plastic bags, seal and refrigerate. DO NOT place the cartridges in
the freezer. When you are ready to use your Royal Prestige
®
FrescaFlow again, follow
the replacement directions to reinstall the cartridges.

FrescaFlow must be protected from freezing temperatures. Failure
to do so may result in loss of performance, damage to parts and water leakage. If your
Royal Prestige
®
FrescaFlow will be exposed to freezing temperatures, cut o water
supply and power. Drain water from system and remove filter cartridges.
• The Royal Prestige
®
FrescaFlow Under Counter System is designed to work only with
the faucet provided. Do not use with any other type of faucet. Doing so may cause a
malfunction.
• DO NOT sit or lean on the unit.
• DO NOT operate system with the unit laying on its side.
