9. LIMITED WARRANTY
Royce Instruments, LLC. warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship upon leaving its
factory.
Royce Instruments, LLC. will repair (or at its option, replace) at no charge any defective equipment for one (1) year
from date of shipment.
To make request or claim for service under this Limited Warranty, the original purchaser must return the Royce
Instruments, LLC. product, shipping prepaid, in the original shipping container or equivalent, to Royce Instruments,
LLC. and assume the risk or loss or damage in transit. A written receipt for the product, showing the date of purchase,
must accompany any request or claim for work to be performed under this Limited Warranty.
This warranty does not apply to equipment which :
(1) has been repaired or altered by anyone in any way so as, in Royce Instruments, LLC.’s judgment, to injure its
stability or reliability.
(2) has been subject to misuse, negligence or accident.
(3) has been connected, installed, or adjusted in a manner other than in accordance with Royce Instruments,
LLC.’s written instructions.
Royce Instruments, LLC. does not represent or warrant that the equipment supplied hereunder complies with any local
laws or ordinances and Buyer will assume complete responsibility for compliance with local laws and ordinances and
obtain all permits, licenses, authorizations or certificates required by any regulatory body for the installation or use of
the equipment.
Royce Instruments, LLC. is not liable for any consequential or special damage, or for personal injury resulting directly
or indirectly from the design, material, workmanship operation or installation of any of its products and neither
assumes or authorizes any other person to assume for it any other liability in connection therewith.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER STATUTORY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR USE AND MERCHANTABILITY, EXCEPT AS TO TITLE.
