The AD-8x provides superior quality and reliability as well as these specic
features:
• Eight amplied stereo audio output zones (either 4 ohm or 8 ohm speakers
may be connected to the zone outputs).
• Eight analog audio source inputs - Eight local inputs which may be
augmented with four remote source inputs using accessory wall plate
(RSP-1).
• Audio input trim adjustment on each source.
• Cool Power

class-D amplier provides twenty-ve watts per channel.
• Amplier offers thermal and short-circuit protection.
• Pre-outputs in each zone allow external amplication for additional power
or speakers in a zone.
• Independent volume and tone control for all audio zones.
• Built-in web interface provides output zone conguration and testing.
• Controlled via IP, RS-232 or Infrared.
• Optional phone and doorbell mute accessory.
• Zone power indicator LEDs.
• Rack mountable (3U rack form factor) or free standing.
• As many as eight AD-8x units may be source-looped, for distributing audio
sources up to 64 zones.
