5. Getting started

5.1. First time operation

The series 1204A peakmeter have been designed for desktop operation.

A wall mount mains power supply generates secondary supply voltage.

5.2. Audio connection

All XLR AF-inputs of the series 1204A peakmeter are of electronically

balanced type.

5.2.1. XLR connector

The series 1204 peakmeter features two inputs with 3-pin XLR-f

connectors. They are wired as follows:

2 + (hot)

3 - (cold)
