• Due to the risk of personal injury, do not make any modifications of
the awning’s design and construction.
• The control unit must be installed in a visible location.
• Technical skills are required for installation of the awning. Do not
install the awning yourself if you are uncertain as to how the awning
can be installed in the place where you intend to install it, if you do
not understand the user’s manual or parts thereof, if you do not have
the necessary tools or if you do not have the necessary skills. Contact
a qualified installer for assistance.
• The awning is large and heavy. Therefore, at least three adults are
required to move and to install the awning. Do not attempt to install
the awning on your own. If the awning falls down, it can cause severe
personal injury or extensive property damage.
• Keep children and pets at a safe distance when you install and adjust
the awning.
• Make sure that your hands are clean when you install the awning
otherwise the canopy and the frame can become dirty.
• Using the awning when there is frost can damage the awning.
• Retract the awning when there is rain or heavy wind.
• Climbing on the awning and hanging objects from the awning are
prohibited.
