General Usage Guidelines:

  • Placement: Always place the air fryer on a flat, heat-resistant work surface near an electrical outlet.
  • Basket Handling: The frying basket drawer is opened by firmly grasping the handle. To remove the frying basket from the drawer, slide the clear basket lock forward to expose the basket release button, then press the button and lift the basket out. Ensure the basket is securely locked back into the drawer before operation.
  • Food Capacity: Do not overfill the frying basket. For proper cooking and air circulation, never fill the basket more than 2/3 full. For fresh vegetables, it's recommended not to exceed 1/2 full.
  • Monitoring Food: For even cooking and browning, it is recommended to open the basket drawer halfway through the cooking time to check, turn, or vigorously shake the food.
  • Batch Cooking: Frying smaller batches generally results in shorter cooking times and higher food quality.
  • Safety Precautions:
    • Always ensure the frying basket drawer is fully closed during operation; the air fryer will not operate otherwise.
    • Exercise extreme caution when handling the hot frying basket and drawer, as they and the cooked food will be hot.
    • Do not immerse the air fryer body in water.
    • Do not obstruct air outlets or inlets.
    • Maintain at least 10 cm clearance from walls or other objects.
    • Use a meat thermometer to ensure meat, poultry, and fish are cooked to safe internal temperatures.
    • Do not use the air fryer to boil water.
    • Avoid moving a hot air fryer or one containing hot food; allow it to cool first.

Maintenance Features

The Air Fryer XXL requires minimal maintenance and contains no user-serviceable parts. Any service requiring disassembly beyond cleaning should be performed by a qualified repair technician.

Cleaning:

  • Cool Down: Always allow the air fryer to cool down completely before cleaning.
  • Unplug: Disconnect the appliance from the power outlet.
  • Basket and Drawer: Wash the frying basket and drawer in hot soapy water. Avoid using metal kitchen utensils or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the non-stick coating.
  • Dishwasher Safe: The frying basket and drawer are dishwasher-safe; for best results, place them in the top rack of the dishwasher.
  • Appliance Body: Clean the air fryer's housing with a soft, non-abrasive, damp cloth.
  • Grease Residues: Ensure the pan is cleaned correctly after each use to prevent white smoke caused by heating grease.

Storage:

  • Clean and Dry: Before storing, ensure the air fryer is unplugged and all parts are clean and dry.
  • Cool: Never store the appliance while it is hot or wet.
  • Location: Store the air fryer in its original box or in a clean, dry place.

Troubleshooting:

The manual includes a troubleshooting guide for common issues such as the air fryer not working, food not being done, uneven cooking, non-crispy snacks, difficulty sliding the pan/basket, and white smoke. Solutions typically involve checking power connections, adjusting settings, reducing food quantity, or ensuring proper assembly and cleaning.
