      If your Ryobi Trimmer engine won't start, it could be due to several reasons. First, there might be no spark. To check, remove the spark plug, reattach the cap, and lay it on the metal cylinder. Pull the starter rope and look for a spark at the plug tip. If there's no spark, try a new spark plug. Another reason could be no fuel. Push the primer bulb until it's full. If it doesn't fill, the fuel delivery system may be blocked, and you should contact a servicing dealer. Alternatively, the engine might be flooded. Remove the spark plug, turn the unit so the spark plug hole faces the ground, rotate the choke dial to the “ ” position, and pull the starter cord 10 to 15 times to clear excess fuel.
