Rotate the handle lock levers counterclockwise to unlock
the upper handle.
Fully extend the upper handle. Make sure that the upper handle is fully extended. Rotate the handle lock levers clockwise to lock and secure
the upper handle.
Adjust the operating angle of the handle to your preference. Pull out the quick-release fastener and turn it 90°. Align the
handle to the preferred locking slot. Turn the fastener 90°, and ensure that the fastener is secured into the slot.
Insert the metal frame lock of the mulching plug into the slots on the mower. Insert the mulching plug into the rear
discharge chute. Do not leave any metal objects such as screws, bolts, nuts on the rear discharage chute.
NOTE: Make sure that the slot is clear of debris, grass, and dirt, and that the metal frame lock is fully seated into the slot.
The product does not start if the lock is not fully seated.
Open the battery door. Insert the battery pack into the
product. Make sure that the latch snaps in place and
that the battery pack is secured to the product before
operating.
Insert the isolator key, and close the battery door. Pull and hold the bale against the handle. Push the start button to engage the blades. To use the self-propler feature, pull and hold the bale against the handle, and pull one or both of the paddles. Use the cruise control variable switch to set the speed of
the product when using the self-propel feature. Slide the
switch to the right to increase the speed. Slide the switch to
the left to decrease the speed.
Release the self-propel paddles and bale to stop the
product.

Wear full eye protection, ear protection, non-slip heavy-
duty gloves, substantial footwear, and long trousers at
all times while operating the product. Do not operate the
product when barefoot or wearing open sandals.

Set the handle to the operating position. Make sure that
the quick-release fasteners snap to lock the handle in
place.
Insert the metal frame lock of the grass catcher into the slots on the mower, and make sure that the grass catcher fully
covers and aligns with the rear discharge chute. Do not leave any metal objects such as screws, bolts, nuts on the rear
discharage chute.
NOTE: Make sure that the slot is clear of debris, grass, and dirt, and that the metal frame lock is fully seated into the slot.
The product does not start if the lock is not fully seated.
