TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Handle not in position. Handle adjustment pins are not in place. Pull up handle adjustment lever, release,
and make sure handle adjustment pins lock
into place.
Mower not starting. Battery is low in charge.
Start key not installed.
Debris in battery compartment.
Handle assembly is not in operating posi-
tion.
Charge the battery.
Install start key.
Ensure nodes and
terminals are clear of debris.
Raise lower and upper handle.
Mower cutting grass unevenly. Lawn is rough or cutting height not set
properly.
Blade is unbalanced, excessively or un-
evenly worn.
Adjust the cutting height.
Replace the blade.
Mower not mulching properly. Wet grass clippings sticking to the under-
side of the deck.
Blade is unbalanced, excessively or un-
evenly worn.
Wait until the grass dries before mowing.
Replace the blade.
Mower hard to push. High grass, rear of mower housing and
blade dragging in heavy grass, or cutting
height too low.
Raise cutting height.
Mower not bagging properly. Cutting height set too low.
Grass blocking rear chute of mower.
Raise cutting height.
Stop the motor, remove start key, and bat-
tery. Remove grass catcher bag and remove
the blockage.
Mower vibrating at higher speed. Blade is unbalanced, excessively or un-
evenly worn.
Bent motor shaft.
Replace the blade.
Stop the motor, remove start key, and battery.
Inspect for damage. Have repaired by an
authorized service center before restarting.
Motor stops while cutting. Cutting height set too low. Raise the cutting height.
Blade replacement indicator light is on. Check if blade needs replacing. Replace blade if necessary and reset blade
replacement indicator.
Two inner lights flashing on battery indica-
tor. Mower will not start.
Overcurrent, excessive load on mower blade. Raise cut height and ensure deck is clear of
debris. If mulching, recommend change to
bagging or side discharge to lighten the load.
Two outer lights flashing on battery indica-
tor. Mower will not start.
Batteries over the temperature limit. Bring batteries inside to cool off. Put mower
in the shade or cool area until batteries stop
displaying the error message.
