1.0 DESCRIPTION

1.1 Overview DF8 "Plus" series fully regenerative four quadrant thyristor control-

lers are designed to control the speed of wound field or permanent

magnet dc motors from ¼ to 5 hp. These drives can also be modified

to become torque control regulators. DF8 "Plus" drives are supplied

in either chassis or Nema 1 enclosed formats.
