The LCD screen will display ‘PLEASE LOCK HOPPER’ if it isn't. Lock the bean hopper into the correct position.

Remove the bean hopper and inspect the burrs, removing any foreign objects. It could also be due to moisture clogging the grinder. Clean the burrs and chute and let the burrs dry thoroughly before re-assembling. You can use a hair dryer to blow air into grinder inlet to dry it.
