SYMPTOM
CAUSE

Engine fails to Low voltage on Replace/recharge the

“Flooded” due to Disconnect battery, remove the
excessive priming glow plugs, and rotate the
propeller several times to
“clear” the cylinder

does not run propeller several times to
“clear” cylinder
Engine starts but Mixture too rich Close high-speed needle valve
slows down and

/2 turn and start again. Repeat
then stops
until engine is running smoothly.
Engine starts, Mixture too lean Open high-speed needle valve
speeds up, and

/2 turn and start again. Repeat
then quits
until engine is running smoothly.
Engine quits Mixture too rich Close high-speed needle valve
when starter

/2 turn and restart
