5 Troubleshooting
Notes: 1. Before troubleshooting, setup the PC’s display as below.
• Resolution: 1280 x 1024
• H-frequency: 48 kHz
• V-frequency: 60 Hz
2. If no picture appears, make sure the power cord is correctly connected.
3. Check the following circuits.
• No raster appears: SMPS PCB, Main PCB
• 14V develop but no screen: Main PCB
• 14V does not develop: SMPS PCB
4. State power off, if you push and hold the “Power Key” button for more than 5 seconds, with a “beep” sound, the
monitor automatically turn back to the factory preset.

Does proper DC 14 V appear at
Pin 10, 11 or Pin 21 of CN101?
Check SMPS.
Yes
No
Does proper DC 5 V appear at
Pin 2 of IC201?
Check IC104 and it’s related circuit.
Replace IC301.
Yes
Does proper DC 5 V appear at
Pin 5 of IC301?
Yes
Does the pulse appear at X101?
Yes
While pushing the power key
does voltage drop from 5V to 0V
at Pin 16 of IC301?
Yes
No
Check IC201 or IC301
and it’s related circuit.
No
Check X101 or check
it’s related circuit.
No
Check function key or
check it’s related circuit.
No
