Installing the drain pipe
f Use a spirit level to make sure that product is horizontally leveled.
f Choose one of the 2 drain holes on the bottom of the product and insert the provided drain plug, then connect the drain
pipe.
f From the 2 drain holes, block the unused hole with the provided rubber plug.
f Install the drain pipe at the rear side of the unit to get a sufficient space for repairs and service on the front side.
f Do not install a trap on the pipe and install the drain pipe horizontally with a slope of 1/50 or more to prevent water from
flowing backwards.
f For smooth drainage, install an air vent that is open to air.
f Insulate the drain pipe and drain plug with insulation over 10 mm.
f Install self-regulating heat cable on the drain pipe to prevent it from being frozen.
f Install the safety equipment for a heating appliance.

Prepare about 2 liters of water and pour water into the drain pan of the DVM Hydro unit / Hydro unit HT as shown in the
illustration.
