❋ When the equivalent length between an outdoor unit and the farthest indoor unit exceeds 90m (295’), upgrade the low
pressure pipe of the main pipe one step.
❋ Note 1) When indoor unit is located at higher level than outdoor unit, allowable height dierence is 40m(131ft), but
when the indoor unit is located at lower level than outdoor unit, allowable height dierence is 50m(164ft).

Install the Y-joint ‘horizontally’ or ‘vertically’.

t When using A~J type of Y-joint, connect the Y-joint to the pipe with the provided reducer.
t When using K~Z type of Y-joint, connect the Y-joint to the pipe by cutting the inlet of the Y-joint or provided
reducer properly.

t Install the Y-joint within ±15° on the horizontal or on the vertical.
t Make sure that the pipe does not break at Y-joint and pipe connection.
t Keep a minimum straight line distance of 500mm (20inch) or more before connecting Y- joint.
