Find a contact
The phonebook includes a search function that allows you to quickly locate a
contact's information by typing a few letters of his or her name. To nd a contact,
In Idle mode, access Menu mode and open the phonebook menu.

From the contact list, enter the rst few letters of the contact name you want

in the input eld.
The rst contact that matches your input is highlighted.
Scroll up or down as necessary to select a contact.

Once you have located a contact, you can place a call, send a message, or edit
the contact information.
On some phone models, you can search for contact names by entering N
characters directly on the dialling screen. In Idle mode, use the keypad to enter
the numerical digits that correspond to the rst few letters of a contact's name,
access options, and then select Search as spelling.
