Security
From the setting menu, you can access and alter the following setting to secure
your phone and data.
Change password ● : change the phone password (refer to Change the phone lock
password
)
Change PIN code ● : change the PIN used to access phone data
Change PIN2 code ● : change the PIN2, which is used to protect the primary PIN
Mobile tracker ● : activate or deactivate the mobile tracker features, which helps you
locate your phone when lost or stolen (refer to
Mobile tracker )
PIN lock ● : activate or deactivate the PIN lock feature to require a PIN before
accessing data (refer to
PIN lock )
Phone lock ● : activate or deactivate the phone lock feature to require a password
before using the phone (refer to
Phone lock )
Privacy lock ● : make various types of data private
SIM lock ● : activate or deactivate the SIM lock feature to require a password before
accessing the SIM card
Network settings
From the setting menu, you can access or alter the following settings to control
how your phone selects and connects to networks:
Connection settings ● : specify settings for network connections
Network selection ● : set the network selection method to automatical or manual
PC connections
From the settings menu, you can access or alter the PC connections settings to
control how you phone behaves when connected to a PC. With this setting, you
can choose to manage your les and data via the Samsung PC Studio, Windows
Media Player, or as a mass storage device. Refer to
USB connections.
