Joining Contacts
To join contact entries:
1. From a Home screen, touch
Apps
➔
Contacts
.
2. Touch an imported contact in the
Contacts
list to view
its information.
Tip:
Contacts stored on your SIM card cannot be linked to
3. Touch
Menu
➔
Join contact.
The contact list displays.
4. Touch the contact you want to Join.
The joined contact’s information is displayed with the
original contact’s information.
5. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 to join other contacts.
Note:
The information is still maintained in both entries, but
displays in one record for easier viewing when you join
the contacts.
6. Touch the
Connections
bar to view the contact
information you joined. The contacts and information
displays including the type of account information is
contained in the entry.
Separating Contacts
To separate joined contact entries:
1. From a Home screen, touch
Apps
➔
Contacts
.
2. Touch a contact in the
Contacts
list to view its
information.
3. Touch
Menu
➔
Separate contact.
A list of Joined contacts displays.
4. Touch ➔
OK
to separate a joined contact.
The contact is removed from the list. The contact is
now separated and no longer displays in the merged
record screen.
