Creating and Sending Messages
To create and send a message:
1. From a Home screen, touch
Apps
➔
Messaging
➔
Compose
.
2. Touch on the
Enter recipient
field to manually enter a
recipient.
– or –
Touch to select a recipient from your Contacts.
Touch the
Groups
,
Favorites
,
Contacts
, or
Logs
tab. The
Contacts
tab is the default.
Touch the desired contacts. A check mark indicates
selection.
Touch
Done.
The recipient is placed in the To field.
Note:
For the Group option, if the number of recipients is less
than 10, all members in the group are added. Delete any
unnecessary members in the list by selecting the trash
can icon.
Note:
Touch the recipient field and use a semicolon (;) to
separate multiple entries.
3. Touch
Attach
to add an attachment to your
message. For more information, refer to “Adding
Attachments to a Message” on page 78.
4. Touch the
Enter message
field and use the on-screen
keyboard to enter a message. For more information,
refer to “Entering Text” on page 35.
5. Review your message and touch
Send
.
Note:
If you exit a message before you send it, it is
automatically saved as a draft.
