Message Threads
Sent and received text and picture messages are grouped
into message threads. Threaded messages allow you to see
all the messages exchanged (similar to a chat program) and
displays a contact on the screen. Message threads are listed
in the order in which they were received, with the latest
message displayed at the top.
To open a threaded message follow these steps:
1. From a Home screen, touch
Apps
➔
Messaging
.
2. Touch the message thread you want to view.
– or –
Touch and hold the message thread to display the
following options:
•View contact
: Displays the contact’s information. This option
only displays if the sender is in your Contacts list.
• Add to Contacts
: Displays the Contacts information screen.
This option only displays if the sender is not in your Contacts
list.
• Delete thread
: Touch
OK
to delete the entire thread.
• Add to spam nos.
: Register the number as a spam number.
Deleting Messages
To delete a single message:
1. From a Home screen, touch
Apps
➔
Messaging
.
2. Touch the message to delete.
3. Touch and hold the message.
The Message options screen displays
4. Touch
Delete message
.
The Delete pop-up displays.
5. Touch
OK
to delete the message or
Cancel
to cancel.
To delete multiple messages:
1. From a Home screen, touch
Apps
➔
Messaging
.
2. Touch
Menu
➔
Delete threads
.
3. Touch each message to delete and a check mark
displays to indicate selection.
4. Touch
Delete
.
The Delete pop-up displays.
5. Touch
OK
to delete the message thread or
Cancel
to
cancel.
