The device communicates with the appropriate server
to set up your account and synchronize your email.
When complete, your email appears in the Inbox for the
account.
Note:
To configure email account settings at any time, use
Menu
➔
Settings
. Touch the account to display
Account settings.
Creating a Corporate Email Account
Use the following procedure to configure your phone to
synchronize with a corporate email account.
1. Get started as described in see “Creating an Email
Account” on page 83.
2. After entering your email address and password, touch
Manual setup
.
3. Touch
Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync
.
4. Enter the required Exchange server information, such
as Domain and Exchange server, and then touch
Next
.
5. At the
Activation
prompt, touch
OK
.
The
Account options
screen displays.
6. Enter the required information and then touch
Next
.
7. Enter an Account name for this account (Optional) and
touch
Done
.
Wait for the Inbox to synchronize before use.
8. Touch
Menu
➔
Settings
to change the account
settings.
Managing Your Email Accounts
You can view email you receive for all accounts in the
Combined view
screen or you can view email accounts
individually.
1. From a Home screen, touch
Apps
➔
Email
.
2. Touch the Inbox button at the top of the screen to
display a
drop-down menu at the top left of the screen
to select:
• Combined view
: View all email in a combined inbox.
•
<
Account Name
>: View email for the account.
