UsetheDeveloperOptionstosetoptionsforapplicationdevelopment.

Press andtap >Settings>Developer options.
2. TaptheOFF/ONsliderandtapOKtoturnDeveloperOptionson.
3. Thefollowingoptionsareavailable:
l Desktop backup password:allowsyoutoprotectyourdesktopwithabackuppassword
ID.
l Stay awake:ensuresthatyourscreenwillneversleepwhileyouarechargingthephone.
l Protect SD card:requiresappstoaskyourpermissionbeforeaccessingdataonyourSD
card.
l USB debugging:AllowsdebuggingwhenthephoneisattachedtoaPCbyaUSBcable.
l Allow mock locations:Usedbydeveloperswhendevelopinglocation-basedapplications.
l Select app to be debugged:Allowsdeveloperstoselectaspecificapptodebug.
l Wait for debugger:Specifiedappsmusthavedebuggerattachedbeforeexecuting.
l Show touches:Displaystouchinteractionsonthescreen.
l Show pointer location:Highlightsthedatathatwastouchedonthescreen.
l Show layout boundaries:Displaysclipbounds,margins,etc.
l Show GPU view updates:FlashesviewsinsidewindowswhendrawnwithGPU.
l Show screen updates:Forcesareasofthescreentoflashasitisupdated.
l Window animation scale:Configurethescaleforanimation(rangesfromoffto10x).
l Transition animation scale:Configurethescalefortransitioningwhenusinganimation
(rangesfromoffto10x).
l Animator duration scale:Configurethescalefordurationwhenusinganimation(ranges

l Disable hardware overlays:AssignstheworkofrenderingtotheGPU.
