View Memory Card Usage
Usethefollowingproceduretoviewmemoryusageinformationforanoptionalinstalledmemory
card(notincluded).

memoryspacewillbedisplayed.)SeeStorageformoreinformation.
Format a Memory Card
Formattingamemorycardpermanentlyremovesallfilesstoredonthecard.

Press andtap >Settings>General>Storage.
2. Scrolldownthescreen,tapFormat SD card>Format SD card>Delete all.
Note:Formattingerasesallthedataonaninstalledmemorycard,afterwhichthefilesCANNOTbe
retrieved.Topreventthelossofimportantdata,pleasecheckthecontentsbeforeyouformatthe
card.
Unmount a Memory Card
Whenyouneedtoremoveanoptionalinstalledmemorycard,youmustunmountthecardfirstto
preventcorruptingthedatastoredonitordamagingthecard.

Press andtap >Settings>General.
2. TapStorage >Unmount SD card.
3. Removethememorycard.SeeRemoveaMemoryCard.
Transfer Files Between Your Phone and a Computer
YoucanusethesuppliedUSBcabletoconnectyourphonedirectlytoyourcomputerandtransfer
music,pictures,andothercontentfiles.Forexample,ifyouhaveamusicalbumstoredonyour
computerthatyouwanttolistentoonyourphonewiththemusicplayer,GooglePlayMusic,or
SprintMusicPlus,justattachyourphonetothecomputerandcopythefilestotheMusicfolder.
Note:YourphonesupportsUSB3.0andUSB2.0,andincludesaUSB3.0cableforhigherdata
transferspeedswhenconnectedtoanotherUSB3.0device.YoucanalsouseUSB2.0cables(not
included)tochargeandconnectyourphone.
