Air Gesture
WhenAirgestureisturnedOn,youcancontrolyourphonebymakingspecificgestureswithyour
handabovetheGesturesensor,locatedneartheEarpieceatthetopofyourphone’sscreen.
The Air gestureicondisplaysintheStatusbarwhenyouhaveAirgestureoptionturnedOn,and
thecurrentappsupportsAirgestures.
Airgesturesinclude:
n Quick glance:WhenOn,youcanreachtowardthedevicewiththescreenofftoseeimportant
informationataglance.
n Air jump:WhenOn,youcanscrollthebodyofemailmessagesinscreen-sizedjumps.
n Air browse:WhenOn,youcanmovebetweenpictures,pages,ormusictracks.
n Air call-accept:WhenOn,youcanwaveyourhandoverthescreentoanswerincomingcalls.

Motion Gestures
Controlyourphonewithnaturalmovements,likeputtingthedevicetoyoureartocallacontact
displayedonthescreen,orcoveringthescreenwithyourhandtomuteanincomingcall.
Phone Motions
UseMotionstocontrolyourphonebymovingitinspecificways.Availablemotionsinclude:
n Direct call:WhenOn,youcanliftthedevicetoyourearwhileviewingacontacttocallthe
contact.
n Smart alert:WhenOn,youcanliftthephonetoreceivenotificationsofmissedcallsand
notificationsthatoccurredwhilethedevicewasstationary.
n Zoom:WhenOn,youcantiltthephonetozoominoroutwhenviewingpicturesinGallery.
n Browse an image:WhenOn,youcanmovethephoneinaside-to-sidemotiontopanfromside
tosidewhileviewinganimage.
n Mute/pause:WhenOn,youcanmuteincomingcallsandpauseplaybackbyturningthephone
screen-sidedown.
