Adjusting your phone’s display settings not only helps you see what you want, it can also help increase
battery life.
Display and Wallpaper Settings Overview
The Display and wallpaper settings menu allows you to configure the following options:
Display Setting
Description
Wallpaper
Select a wallpaper.
Notification panel
Set options menu for the Notification Panel, including brightness
adjustment and quick menu items.
Multi window
Set options for using Multi window.
Page buddy
Create content-related pages on the Home screen.
Brightness
Set the display brightness.
Auto rotate screen
Set whether to allow the screen to rotate the display with the phone
orientation, where applicable.
Screen timeout
Set a screen timeout duration.
Note: Longer durations discharge the battery more quickly.
Daydream
Select a screensaver to be displayed when the device is charging.
Font style
Set a default font style for the display.
Font size
Set font size for display.
Touch key light duration
Set the length of time the Menu Key and Back Key are lit.
Show battery percentage
Show battery percentage on the Status Bar.
Auto adjust screen tone
Adjust the display brightness based on the on-screen image to save
power.
