Silent Mode/Airplane Mode
The following topics explain how to use your phone’s Silent Mode and Airplane Mode settings.
Silent Mode
Silent mode mutes your phone’s ringtone, operation sounds, notifications, and so on.
To set silent mode:
1. Press and hold the Power/Lock Key to display the Device options menu.
2. Tap Mute.
Your phone is now in silent mode.
Tip: You can also access silent mode through the Status Bar menu. Drag the Status Bar down and tap
the speaker icon until you see Mute
