Using Auto Discharge
Using the auto discharge function, the fl ash fi res under low light conditions in auto
mode.
1. Rotate the Mode dial ( ) to select
(Auto mode).
2. Press the fl ash (
) button.
- The built-in fl ash pops up if necessary and
begins charging. When the fl ash is fully
charged,
appears in the LCD panel and
viewfi nder.
3. Press the shutter release button halfway.

The focus indicator
( )
appears in the
viewfi nder when focused.
4. Press the shutter release button fully.
-
The picture is taken.
5. Push down on the portion indicated in the
illustration to retract the fl ash.
