Usage Features:
- Clock Setting: Users can set the correct time, which is crucial for automatic operations. The clock time cannot be changed during operation.
- Sound On/Off: Key tones, beeps, or alarms can be turned on or off in Standby mode.
- Turntable: The oven includes a roller ring and a turntable, which must be properly installed for free rotation. The turntable can be toggled on/off.
- Accessories: The oven comes with various accessories, including a roller ring, turntable, crusty plate, low rack, high rack, and a steam cooker (MC35R8058K* model only). Wire racks should not be used in Microwave mode.
- Cookware: Only microwave-safe utensils should be used. Metallic containers, gold/silver trimmed dinnerware, and skewers are not allowed in Microwave mode due to arcing risk. For Convection and Grill Combo modes, ovenproof cookware like glass, pottery, or bone china without metal trim is recommended.
- Preheating: The oven preheats until it reaches the set temperature, indicated by a beep and the disappearance of an icon. Cooking time can be set after preheating.
- Cooking Smart Guides: Detailed guides are provided for various food types in different cooking modes, including Air Fry, Auto Cook, Power Defrost, and Steam cooking, with recommended serving sizes, power levels, cooking times, and standing times.
- Quick & Easy Functions: Includes specific instructions for melting butter, chocolate, crystallized honey, gelatine, cooking glaze/icing, and making jam.
Maintenance Features:
- Regular Cleaning: The oven should be cleaned regularly to prevent food deposits and surface deterioration. Special attention should be paid to the door, door seals, turntable, and roller ring.
- Stubborn Odor Removal: A method is provided to remove bad smells by heating diluted lemon juice in the oven.
- Swing-Heater Cleaning: For models with a swing-heater, the top heating element can be lowered by 45° to facilitate cleaning of the upper cooking chamber.
- Safety Precautions for Cleaning: Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners, sharp metal scrapers, steam cleaners, or water jets. Ensure the door and seals are clean for smooth operation.
- Light Bulb Replacement: Contact a local Samsung service center for light bulb replacement; users should not attempt it themselves.
- Extended Disuse: For long periods of non-use, unplug the power cord and store the oven in a dry, dust-free location to prevent dust and moisture from affecting performance.
