Designing a double-side enclosure
• When installing the display along with an enclosure, ensure adequate clearance (A) between the back of the
enclosure and surrounding objects for proper flow of air.
– Example 1) Exposure to direct sunlight: 100 mm or more
– Example 2) Atmospheric temperatures under 35 ℃ without direct sunlight: 50 mm or more
• When designing a double-side enclosure, make sure you install a separate fan, as shown below, to maintain a flow
rate of at least 300 CFM, considering that there is no inlet on the rear. The external air temperature should be
maintained below 30°C, as shown below (measured position: B). Make sure the lower inlet is large enough to not
cause the fan flow rate to decrease.
– If the unit is subjected to excess heat due to an insufficient gap, this may cause a malfunction, which will not be
covered by the warranty.
