Create an email account
1. Before you can send or receive email
messages, you must enter your email
account information.
1. On the Home screen, press <Start>
Messaging Setup E-mail.
2. Select the type of email account if it is listed
(Microsoft Exchange, Gmail, etc.) or, if
the type of account is not listed, select
Other.
3. Enter your email address and password,
and press <Next>.
4. Press <Next> to let the phone try to
automatically determined the required
settings.
5. If necessary, select the type of email
provider and press <Next>
6. Enter your name and account display
name, and press <Next>.
7. If necessary, enter the incoming mail server
and select the account type, and press
<Next>.
8. If necessary, enter a user name and
password, and press <Next>.
9. If necessary, enter the outgoing mail server
and press <Next>.
10. Set how often you want your phone to
connect to the server and check for
incoming email messages in Automatic
Send/Receive.
11. Press <Finish>.
