If you have trouble with your phone, try these procedures before you contact a service professional.
While using your phone, the
following messages may appear:
Ensure that the SIM card is
installed correctly.
When using the phone for the
first time or when the PIN
requirement is enabled, you
must enter the PIN supplied with
the SIM card. To disable this
feature, press <

Your SIM card is blocked,
usually as a result of entering
your PIN incorrectly several
times. You must enter the PUK
supplied by your service
provider.
Your phone does not show a signal (no
bars next to the network icon).
• If you just turned on the phone, wait about 2
minutes for your phone to find the network
and receive a signal.
• You may not be able to receive a signal in

unnels or elevators. Move to an open area.
