Questions and Answers

    Brenda CowanJul 30, 2025
Why do subjects come out too dark in my Samsung PL20 photos?
    • T
      Timothy HillJul 31, 2025
Subjects may appear too dark due to backlighting, which occurs when the light source is behind the subject or when there's high contrast between light and dark areas. To resolve this, avoid shooting with the sun behind your subject. Additionally, you can select Backlight in the mode, set the flash option to Fill in, set the Auto Contrast Balance (ACB) option, adjust the exposure, or set the metering option to Spot if a bright subject is in the center of the frame.

Why are my Samsung Digital Camera photos blurred?
    • L
      lindaflemingAug 7, 2025
Blurred photos can occur due to low light conditions or incorrect camera handling. Ensure the subject is focused by pressing the shutter button halfway down. You may also consider using the mode.

How to fix red eyes in Samsung Digital Camera photos?
    • A
      Alicia WhiteAug 14, 2025
Red eyes in photos are caused by reflection from the camera flash. To prevent this, set the flash option to Red-eye or Red-eye Fix. If the photo has already been taken, select Red-eye Fix in the edit menu.

What to do if photos from Samsung PL20 Digital Camera are blurred at night?
    • H
      hbrownAug 23, 2025
When shooting at night, blurriness can occur because the camera slows the shutter speed to allow more light. To avoid this, select Night in the mode. You can also turn on the flash, set ISO speed options, or use a tripod to stabilize the camera.
