Cutting Off Wind Noise (Wind Cut)
The Wind Cut function works only in Camera Mode.

Use the Wind Cut when recording in windy places such as the
beach or near buildings.
The Wind Cut function minimizes wind noise or other noise while
recording.
- When the Wind Cut is on, some low pitched tones are
eliminated along with the sound of the wind.
1. Set the
[Mode] switch to [DISC].
2. Set the [Power] switch to [ (Camera)].
3. Press the
[MENU] button.
4. Move the
[Joystick] up or down to select
<Record>, then press the [Joystick(OK)].
5. Move the
[Joystick] up or down to select
<Wind Cut>
, then press the [Joystick(OK)].
6. To activate the Wind Cut function, move the
[Joystick] up or down to select <On>,
then press the [Joystick(OK)].
7. To exit, press the
[MENU] button.
Wind Cut icon ( ) is displayed.
Note
Make sure Wind Cut is set to Off when you want
the microphone to be as sensitive as possible.

La función Wind Cut minimiza el ruido del viento y otros ruidos
durante la grabación.
- Cuando la función Wind Cut está activada,
se eliminan algunos sonidos graves junto
con los del viento.
1. Coloque el interruptor [Mode] en [DISC].
2. Coloque el interruptor
[Power] en
[ (Camera)].
3. Presione el botón
[MENU].
4. Mueva el
[Joystick] hacia arriba o hacia
abajo para seleccionar <Record> y pulse el
botón [Joystick(OK)].
5. Mueva el
[Joystick] hacia arriba o hacia
abajo para seleccionar <Wind Cut> y pulse el
botón [Joystick(OK)].
6. Para activar la función Wind Cut, mueva el
[Joystick] arriba o abajo para seleccionar
<On> y pulse el botón [Joystick(OK)].
7. Para salir, presione el botón
[MENU].
Aparece el icono Wind Cut ( ).
Nota
Asegúrese de que la función Wind Cut esté
Off cuando quiera que el micrófono sea lo más
sensible posible.
