Cautions when using the battery
• This flash requires using 2
AAA
Ni-MH
or
2
AAA
alkaline batteries. Do not use any other batteries, as
this
may
cause malfunction, poor performance,
or
overheating
of
the battery.

• Using manganese dry cell batteries
is
not recommended, as the batteries are not available to capture l£.

many photos.
• Remove batteries from the device when not
in
use for a long period
of
time. The inside
of
the flash
can be damaged by battery fluid.
• Battery performance may deteriorate and charging may take longer when you use the device
in
cold
temperatures. When using the device in cold temperatures, keep a spare set
of
batteries warm to
alternate with your primary batteries.
• Do not disassemble
or
attempt to charge disposable batteries, as this may cause rupture or leakage
of
the battery.
• Do not mix the batteries from different manufacturers or
of
different type or capacity when replacing
them.
• Insert the batteries properly according to +/- polarity; otherwise, it may cause battery fire or rupture.
