Setting up the Bluetooth feature
The Bluetooth menu provides the following
options:
•
Activation : activate or deactivate the
Bluetooth feature.
•
My devices : search for connectable
Bluetooth devices.
•
My phone’s visibility : allow other
Bluetooth devices to connect to your phone.
•
My phone’s name : assign a Bluetooth
device name to your phone, which is then
displayed on other devices.
•
Secure mode : determine if the phone asks
for your confirmation when other devices
access your data.
•
Bluetooth services : display available
Bluetooth services.
Searching for and pairing with a
Bluetooth device
1. From the Bluetooth menu, select My
devices
.
2. Select
Search new device .
After searching, a list of devices to which you
can connect displays. The following icons
indicate the kind of device:
• Stereo headset
• Mobile phone
• Computer
• If there are obstacles between the devices, the
maximum operating distance may be reduced.
• It is recommended that you do not use the
Bluetooth feature while using multimedia
features such as voice recorder, camera, and
music player, or vice versa, for better
performance.
• Some devices, especially those that are not
tested or approved by SIG, may be
incompatible with your phone.
