Voice Kit
Voice service allows you to say commands to perform common
functions supported by your phone. There is no voice training
required to use the voice service feature. You simply say the pre-
designated command displayed on your screen in a normal tone of
voice to perform the desired function.
To activate voice service:
1. Press for Menu.
2. Press For Tools.
3. Press for Voice Kit.
4. Press for Voice Service.
Tip: You can also activate Voice Service from the Idle screen by
pressing and holding the key.
5. Wait for the beep and then say one of the following
commands:
When the phone recognizes one of these commands, it launches the
associated application. If the phone does not hear a command within
approximately eight seconds, it de-activates voice service without
taking any action.
Note: If you want to use another button to activate voice service, in
addition to ,
press for Menu, followed by for Launch
Pad. Through this menu, you can change button assignments, including
the button used to launch "Voice Service", which is the voice service
application.
