What to do if my Samsung LED TV won't turn on?
    • A
      Angela PrestonAug 14, 2025
First, ensure the AC power cord is securely plugged into both the wall outlet and the LED display. Verify that the wall outlet is working correctly. Then, try pressing the POWER button on the LED display itself to rule out a remote control issue. If the LED display turns on, the problem might be with the remote.

      Deborah HayesAug 17, 2025
Check that the Sleep Timer is set to Off in the Time menu. If you have a PC connected to the LED display, review your PC's power settings. Also, make sure the AC power cord is securely connected to both the wall outlet and the LED display. If you're using an antenna or cable connection, the LED display might turn off after 10-15 minutes of no signal.

If you're using a DVI to HDMI cable, be aware that the LED display might not support audio through this connection. Try rebooting the connected device by disconnecting and reconnecting its power cable. Also, check if anything is plugged into the headphone jack on your LED display, as this can mute the speakers.

Why is the picture distorted on my Samsung TC300?
    • K
      kathymaciasAug 25, 2025
Picture distortion, especially in fast-moving scenes, can be caused by video content compression. Low signal level or poor signal quality can also cause this issue, which is not a LED display problem. Additionally, mobile phones used close to the LED display (within approximately 1 meter) may cause picture noise on both analogue and digital LED displays.

If you are connected with a cable box, try resetting it by reconnecting the AC cord and waiting for it to reboot, which may take up to 20 minutes. Also, set the output resolution of the cable box to 1080i or 720p.

      Stephen Dennis IISep 6, 2025
If you're using an analogue cable or set-top box, consider upgrading to a digital set-top box and using HDMI for HD picture quality. Cable/satellite subscribers should try HD channels. Antenna users should try HD channels after performing Auto Tuning. Adjust the cable/set-top box video output resolution to 1080i or 720p. Ensure you're watching from the minimum recommended distance based on the screen size and signal definition.
