Preventing red-eye
If the ash res when you capture a photo of a person in the dark, a red glow may
appear in the persons eyes. To prevent this, select Red-eye or Red-eye Fix. Refer to
ash options in "Using the ash." (p. 58)

How to use the ash
Press [
F
] to pop the ash up when it is need.
When the ash unit is closed, the ash does not re regardless of the selected
option. When the ash unit pops up, the ash res according to the selected option.
While not in use, keep the ash unit closed to prevent damage.
Forcing open the ash unit may cause damage to your camera.
Press down gently to close.
