Preventing red-eye
If the ash res when you capture a photo of a person in the dark, a red glow may
appear in the person’s eyes. To prevent this, select Red-eye or Red-eye Fix. Refer to
ash options in "Using the ash." (p. 58)

How to use the ash
Press [
F
] to pop the ash up when it is need.
When the ash unit is closed, the ash does not re regardless of the selected
option. When the ash unit pops up, the ash res according to the selected option.
•
While not in use, keep the ash unit closed to prevent damage.
•
Forcing open the ash unit may cause damage to your camera.
Press down gently to close.
