Protecting a le
Protect a le from accidental deletion.

In Playback mode, select a le to protect.

Press [ ], and then select Protect → On.

Repeat steps 1 and 2 to protect additional les.
You cannot delete or rotate a protected le.
Deleting les
Select les to delete in Playback mode.
Deleting a single le
You can select one le, and then delete it.

In Playback mode, select a le, and then press [ ].

When the pop-up message appears, select Yes.
You can also delete les in Playback mode by pressing [ ], and then
selecting Delete → Delete → Yes.
Deleting multiple les
You can select multiple les, and then delete them at once.

In Playback mode, press [ ].
• When in thumbnails view, press [ ], select Delete → Select, and then
skip to step 3, or press [
], select Select, and then skip to step 3.

Select Delete → Multiple Delete.

Scroll to each le you want to delete, and then press [ ].
• Press [ ] again to cancel your selection.
• You can also select les by touching them.

Press [ ].

When the pop-up message appears, select Yes.
