Using the Eect Artist mode
In Eect Artist mode, you can capture a photo with various lters or texture eects,
and then add brush or pen eects to it.

Rotate the mode dial to g .

• To select another mode when the mode dial is set to g , press [ b ] or touch
, and then select a mode. You can also select another mode by pressing
[
m ] and selecting a mode.

Select an eect.
Option Description
Light
Create a light diusion eect.
Lomo
Mimic the lens eect of a Lomo camera.
Crack
Create a cracked ground eect.
Sepia
Apply a brown sepia tone.
Textile
Create a textile eect.
Old lm
Create the feeling of a photo taken with old lm.
Option Description
Crumpled paper
Create a crumpled paper eect.
Watercolor
Apply a watercolor painting eect.
Wave
Create a wave eect.
Cartoon
Apply a cartoon eect.
Sand
Create a sand eect.
Half Tone Dot
Create a halftone dot eect.
Bumpy Wall
Create a bumpy wall eect.
Sketch
Apply a pen sketch eect.
Sepia-Cartoon
Create a brownish cartoon eect.

Half-press [Shutter] to focus, and then press [Shutter] to capture a
background photo.
• To select a background photo from your saved photos, press [ m ] and
then select Open Image → an image. You cannot select a video le, GIF le,
or a photo captured in Panorama mode.

Touch Use.
• To recapture a background photo, touch Retake.
