Werecommendcleaningthedebrislter5or6timesayear,orwhentheerrormessageof“5E” is
displayed.(Referto“Drainingthewashingmachineinanemergency”intheprevioussection.)
Ifforeignsubstancesaccumulatedebrislter,theperformanceofthebubblefunctionwillbedegraded.
Before cleaning the debris filter, make sure to unplug the power cord.
1. Removetheremainingwaterrst(referto“Drainingthe
washingmachineinanemergency”onpage35.)
Ifyouseparatethelterwithoutdrainingtheremaining
water, the remaining water may trickle out.
2. Opentheltercoverbyusingakeyorcoin.
3. Unscrew the emergency drain cap by turning it to the left
and drain off all the water.
4. Unscrew the debris filter cap.
5. Washanydirtorothermaterialfromthedebrislter.Make
sure the drain pump propeller behind the debris filter is not
blocked.
6. Replacethedebrisltercap.
7. Replacetheltercover.
Donotopenthedebrisltercapwhilethemachineisrunningorhot
water may flow out.
• Makesuretoreplacetheltercapaftertheltercleaning.Ifthelterisoutofthemachine,your
washing machine may malfunction or leak water.
• Theltershouldbefullyassembledaftertheltercleaning.
CLEANINGTHEEXTERIOR
1. Wipethewashingmachinesurfaces,includingthecontrolpanel,withasoftclothusinga
nonabrasive household detergent.
2. Useasoftclothtodrythesurfaces.
3. Donotpourwaterontothewashingmachine.
