Skating
force
is
the
natural
force,
caused
by
rotation
of
a
record
or
the
platter,
which
pulls
the
tonearm
toward
the
center
spindle.
The
anti-skating
device
is
the
mechanism
to
balance
this
force
to
prevent
excess
wear
and
to
assure
proper
disc
reproduction.

Hook
the
string
of
the
device
as
illustrated
at
left.

Move
the
bias
weight
to
the
proper
position
according
to
the
applied
tracking
force.
Relation
between
tracking
force
and
weight
position
is
as
illustrated.
Arm
height
adjustment
:
The
tonearm,
when
playing
a
record,
should
be
perfectly
horizontal
to
the
motor
board,
If
not,
loosen
the
screw,
as
illustrated
at
left,
and
adjust
arm
height.
