This function automatically finds and stores all the receivable
stations.
The
programme
positions
1
to
6
are
especially
prepared for the following major stations in the UK.
Programme position 1 : BBC1
Programme position 2 : BBC2
Programme position 3: ITV
Programme position 4 : CH4
Programme position 5 : CH5
Programme position 6 : SKY or BBC(SAT)
Programme position 6 is reserved for SKY or BBC(SAT)
station. If both stations are available in your reception
area, the first found station is stored for the programme
position 6.
lf any of them are not available in your reception area, some
programme positions from 1 to 6 will not have a stored
station. The remaining stations will be stored from
programme position 7 in sequence as found.
1 Press the FL.) button repeatedly until the word
"PRESET NO/YES" appears on the screen.
P, Select "YES" by pressing the + button.
3 Press the FL.) button once to select the automatic
presetting/sorting mode. The words "Auto Tuning/
Sorting" appears on the screen.
4 Press the w+ button to begin automatic presetting
and sorting.
After all receivable channels have been found and stored, the
TV set automatically returns to programme position “1”.
The automatic tuning/sorting operation can be cancelled at
any time by pressing the FC.) button.
@ When one of the 6 major stations is selected, the
programme ID(identification) is displayed together with the
programme number on the screen automatically for about 5
seconds.
@ The Programme ID display and the sorting function may not
operate properly under the following conditions.
- The reception of a weak signal condition.
- The reception of a station which does not have a teletext
service.
@ You can change the order of stored station, use the channel
swapping function, refer to page 17.
